Woman marries video game character

A woman in Japan has married a video game character in a virtual ceremony. The woman, who is 35 years old, said she fell in love with a character from a dating simulation game called “Love Plus”. She said she played the game every day for two years and developed feelings for the character, who is named Ringo. She said she decided to marry Ringo in a ceremony that was streamed online. She said she wore a white dress and exchanged wedding vows with Ringo on her phone.
