1. Tom put out Becky’s candle to save it because
they needed to conserve their light source.
2. When Becky could no longer walk, they sat down, talked about home,
and eventually, Becky fell asleep.
3. Becky dreamed about a beautiful place that she thought they were
going to.
4. Tom revealed to Becky that the small piece of candle he had left was
their last one.
5. Becky hoped that they would be missed and that people would start
looking for them. Tom agreed, suggesting that they might already be
