Cow lifted to safety

Emergency responders in Australia were called to a muddy riverbank to rescue a cow that had walked too close to the water and sank into the mud.

The Australian Emergency Service said a crew was summoned to assist the Animal Care Unit, or ACU, with a large animal rescue last Monday.

The ACU said a cow had got stuck in the mud after recent heavy rains and ended up sinking upto its stomache.

The crew shared photos on social media showing rescuers lifting the cow to safety.
