Coronavirus words
COVID-19 is a disease that has affected most countries all around the
world. It is a global pandemic.
It’s important to cover your nose and mouth with a mask so that the
disease does not get passed from one person to another.
It’s also important not to get too close to other people. This is called
social distancing and we must always remember to do this when we leave
our homes.
Another thing that we should do is wash our hands regularly with soap
and water. If you are outside and cannot do this, you should use hand
sanitizer to clean your hands.
Some countries are worse than others. In places where the virus is very
bad, you may be on lockdown which means that you can only leave your
home to go to work or to buy food or medical supplies. In this case,
bars, restaurants and some shops will be closed and you should stay at
home as much as possible.
