Clean Hands
Maria washes her hands every day.
Her mum taught her how to wash them properly.
She washes her hands with soap and water in the bathroom. It takes her
about 30 seconds. While she washes her hands, she sings ‘Happy Birthday’
twice. This takes about 30 seconds. Then, she turns off the water. She
dries her hands on a clean towel.
She does this many times during the day, especially when she gets home
after being outside. If she’s out and cannot use soap and water, Maria
uses hand sanitizer to clean her hands.
She always cleans her hands before eating or touching food.
Maria’s got very clean hands. She doesn’t have many germs on her hands.
