The Cathedral
This cathedral is over 150 years
old.
It was constructed in 1865 and still has its original floor and
stonework.
In 1943 it was damaged by bombing during the Second World War so it was
rebuilt
and two new chapels were added at the back.
As you can see the stained-glass windows are beautiful and the cross is
made of
gold and diamonds.
Many famous people have been married and christened here over the years
including
artists, writers and actors.
The pipe organ is nearly 100 years old and the tapestry dates back to
the early part
of the last century.
