Travel Update
And before the news at the top of the hour we
have some travel news for you. If you’re on the A45 Eastbound in
Manchester, beware! There are horrendous traffic jams building up due to
an overturned lorry at junction 13. No injuries have been reported in
the accident, but it’s causing chaos at the moment.
If you’re flying out of Manchester City airport this evening, be aware
that the air traffic controllers are still on strike and disruption,
delays and flight cancellations may continue until the weekend.
And finally, the storm that was expected to hit the city tomorrow
morning seems to be coming in early. We’ve been told that bad weather is
likely to arrive this evening and continue during the night and for most
of tomorrow. So, do be careful if you’re using the roads and stay tuned
for a full weather report after the news.
