My Aunt Sally
My Aunt Sally is a shopkeeper. She has a shop in a
small town next to the River Wye near Worcester.
The shop sells almost everything from birthday cards to
briefcases. It's also a café.
Young kids always stop to spend a few pennies on sweets and
ice-cream on their way to and from school.
My aunt doesn't often leave the town. She doesn't have a
car so once a month she goes by train to London and has lunch at
the Hilton Hotel in the city centre. One free day a
month is not a lot but she never complains. She is one of the
happiest people I know. |
