I think it was a really good film. Maybe it was a bit too long. Two and a
half hours is a very long time to be sitting in the cinema.
But it was exciting and I was never bored.
I don’t usually like war films, but this one had some wonderful actors
and a really fascinating story. I’m also interested in the history of
Vietnam, so I knew a lot about the story.
My wife didn’t like it, though. She said it was too violent. “Too much
blood!”, she said. But I think it had to be violent to be realistic.
The last time we went to the cinema was a year ago, so it was really
nice to get out for the evening. We usually watch films and TV series
on the internet at home.
