This building is over 200 years old. It was constructed in 1808 by one of the
richest politicians in the city. In 1926 it was damaged by the great fire so it
was rebuilt and three new rooms were added at the back.
As you can see the artwork on the walls is beautiful and the floor is made from
Italian marble.
Many famous people have lived here over the years including artists, writers
and actors.
The furniture is antique and the kitchen table dates back to the early part of
the last century.
