A 5-year-old boy from the south of England is being asked to pay 24 euros
for not going to his friend’s birthday party at a ski park.
Instead of attending the party, the boy went to visit his grandparents without
telling his friend or his friend’s parents.
The boy, Alex, came home from school the following day with an invoice for
24 euros in his backpack. His parents are furious. “At first we thought it was
a joke”, said his mum. “We’re lost for words and we have no intention of paying.”
It seems that the case may go to court.
