Abandoned Dog rescued with
Google Maps
An abandoned dog has been rescued in Los Angeles after a woman saw the
dog on Google
Maps Street View.
A woman contacted an animal care group and told them where she had seen
the dog.
The dog, who has been named Sonya, was rescued from outside an abandoned
building.
Sonya was shy and hiding under a truck when she was found. But she was
happy to eat up
the bits of cheeseburger she was given by the rescuer.
Sonya was then taken to a vet where it was revealed that she had several
tumors and arthritis.
She was given medical treatment and eventually taken in by a foster
family.
