Table Tennis

My best friend, Graham, had a table tennis table in his garage and when we were growing up together we played a lot.
I think of table tennis as being somewhere in between a table-top board game and a large scale sport like rugby, badminton, football or tennis when played on a full-size tennis court.
The problem with the table that Graham had was that the garage it was in was too small and when you reached wide to return a shot you invariably scraped your bat on the garage wall.
In spite of the inconveniences, we had a lot of fun and having the table in the garage meant that we never got bored on those rainy English days when the weather was too bad to play tennis or cricket outside or take a football to the park.
